It only takes 20 minutes to be out of the car, everything unloaded and in its proper place before everyone gravitates to the natural pull of the water. I didn't realize until that night by the campfire why so many of us really truly enjoy going to the lake. We get to connect with so many natural elements in one amazing space. The earth beneath our feet, feeling so grounded and connected to the grassy terrene below the soles of our ever supportive bones and muscles letting gravity pull us closer to the core of it all.
